GENERAL ACADEMICS

These are the common core and specialisation subjects which the students undertake to fulfil the basic requirements for an MBA Degree.

The first semester consists of 5 such papers aimed at strengthening the foundation of the student coming in from various disciplines viz Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Science etc.,

The Second semester consists of 5 core managerial functional papers designed in a way so as to entrench in the minds of aspiring managers the functional management requirement.

The second semester aims at providing a strong platform from which the student can embark on this professional journeys by having adequate information about the various Managerial Areas.

The third semester is the most decisive one where the student has to select a specialization in accordance with his / her performance, Personal Traits, Market Demand etc., the specialisation means a thorough in-depth study which goes a long way in shaping the budding Managers career prospects. It is expected at the end of third semester that the candidate is having a thorough & perfect knowledge of the in and outs of his specialisation. A mastery over the specialised subject leads towards a fruitful career and better openings.

The fourth semester is designed to expose students to the real life situations and enable them to real life situations and enable them to use and put to practice their foundation, core and specialised Managerial knowledge acquired over the last 3 semesters. The students has to undergo a project work in his area of specialisation / Micro Specialisation in an affluent organisation under the actual working environment of the company to see from a Bird's Eye Viewpoint as to how the organisation work, how to work still better or how to know more innovative ways to make them more productive and effective.

The student is given guidance by the faculty in framing the Title deciding the Methodology, preparation of data collecting tools, analysis of Data and conclusions, recommendations of the project work.

The project work ends with a practical preparation of project and submission of project reports together the Viva Voce, which marks the end of the MBA programme, and the candidate now is ready to enter the harsh world of realities with his head high, lofty aims and ambitions, thoroughly programmed to reach the end target. A prospective opening in an enterprising organisation.
